This Saturday, between 2030 and 2130 local time, will be Earth Hour.
Participants in over 64 countries around the world will turn off their lights for an hour to:
a) Show visibly that they care about Global Warming and man-induced climate change
b) Practically, save energy, (and money), and thus help in a small way to mitigate the effects of man-induced climate change
The web site at http://www.earthhour.org/ will give you full details. You can participate on your own, at home, or not; the choice to make a statement and at the same time do something positive for future generations is completely yours.
