Registration for the event is open to all participants age 16 years (as of 24 October 2009) and above on race day. Participants below the age of 21 years (As of 24 October 2009) are required to obtain the written consent of their parent/guardian.
Nike will donate $5 of each registration fee ($25 for participants under 24 years old and $35 for the Open category, exclusive of 7% GST) to the Nike+ Human Race Fund to be distributed equally to the three Nike+ Human Race charities.

COLOURS FOR LIFE 2009,Club Rainbow (Singapore)'s annual iconic event will be approaching on 5 & 6 September 2009, Sat & Sun, 8am - 6.30 pm at The Central Mall.
This event is an awareness building platform for the many different illnessess and tribulations that our many little ones suffer from. We will mark this by having 2(listed below) very special ways of pledging their support of any child with a chronic illness by :
1. Hand for Hope : Well wishers can pledge their support with a hand print on a Giant Rainbow at $5.
2. Walk of Life : Well wishers can pledge their support by taking part in the Pink Dolphin walk on 6 September 2009 at 9am.
You can play a role in the different volunteering opportunities in making a difference in the lives of the children as below-mentioned :
1. Be involved in Marshalling for the Walk. (Guide and Manage the crowd)
2. Be an Ambassadors for Club Rainbow ( Singapore ) to create the awareness of the organisation. (Booth Management in distributing brouches etc)
3. Be part of manning the Volunteer's Booth. (Getting Volunteers to get excited and signed up for different areas of volunteering)
4. Be part of Direct Debit Donor Programme (DDDP)'s booth. (Assisting in new Donor sign ups)
5. Be a Usher. (Direct the crowd to our event venue)
6. Be involved in the areas of Logistic. (Transport Logistic if needed and distribution of snacks to volunters and performers.)
7. Be part of putting your hand print on the Giant Rainbow by contributing $5.00 per hand.
8. Be a Participant in the walk on Sunday and putting your hand print by contributing $15.00 for both items.

Her name is Zhang Xiaoou. On 4th March, 2009, her life took a fatal turn. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a life-threatening disease that will post a staggering SGD 400,000 medical bill to her middle-income family. Xiaoou is a smart and diligent final year student from National University of Singapore with excellent academic results.
