粿條仔
順利花園榕樹下粿條仔享譽盛名。幾年前，新加坡電視台的美食節目更是派大隊前來採訪錄影。平時一大早，檔口的食客就絡繹不絕，到了週日，要帶一家大小前來光顧，排隊等位是常有的事。粿條仔中的粿條，吃在嘴裡可是滑不溜丟的，湯汁香濃可口，豬雜爽口入味，一點都不油膩，吃了絕對會再自動上門光顧。

麵粉粿
煮麵粉粿最重要是麵粉要熟，但不能熟得沒有嚼勁。順利花園麵粉粿不但可以做到這一點，而且湯底又能配合到既滑溜又不清淡，起鍋時，趁湯汁沸到頂點下一粒蛋，即刻拿起，端到顧客面前，又是一碗札札實實的麵粉粿。

紅豆冰
炎熱的午後來碗紅豆冰，涼快極了！經營逾30年的陳記紅豆冰，特地購入5000令吉刨冰機，以刨出細細幼幼的碎冰，紅豆至少熬煮了兩三個小時，濃稠的巧克力醬是秘方配製，撒上新鮮的玉蜀黍粒和亞答仔，刨冰入口即化，沁人心扉，消解了暑意。巧克力糖醬與香醇清甜的淡奶，兩者結合輕易攻陷食客味蕾，讓人欲罷不能，未夠喉的話，再來一碗！

咖哩卜
現做現賣的小寶咖哩卜，外皮香酥，內餡有鬆軟的馬鈴薯和可口的咖哩調味，以及四分之一的水煮蛋，味道不會太鹹，獨特口感令人不禁食指大動。老板娘坦言，剛開始賣咖哩卜時，一些細節還拿捏不準，經過不斷改良和聽取各方意見，終於取得不俗的成績。老板娘如此用心，難怪吸引老中青顧客來捧場。

番薯魚丸
番薯魚長什麼模樣？也許熟悉的人不多，但新山的番薯魚丸倒是普遍可見的小吃。勝記番薯魚丸以新鮮的番薯魚肉為主料，吃起來沒有魚腥味，膠質豐富，彈性十足。除了“白魚丸”，還有經油炸呈褐色外觀的“黑魚丸”和番薯魚餅，同樣香脆美味。過年過節，一些顧客還會訂購番薯魚丸作火鍋材料，增添湯汁的鮮美。

Mee Rebus
這檔Mee Rebus所處位置便在新甘光海邊的士都蘭區（Stulang），老板“就地取材”以Stulang為招牌名稱，而且從1977年沿用至今，可謂該區大家熟悉的地標。Stulang Mee Rebus只有水煮蛋和炸得香脆的小蝦米、麵餅碎、青辣椒，但蘸上酸柑汁和甜甜辣辣的湯汁，吃起來非常開胃。檔主已將生意交給兒子接手，食物口味仍維持一貫水準，加料不另計且僅此一家，別無分號。

炸香蕉
這對馬來夫婦經營炸香蕉檔僅5年，食客已經絡繹不絕，下午茶時段，顧客更是一批接一批，等候半小時至1小時買炸香蕉是平常事。檔主選用種植於新山和霹靂州一帶的拉惹蕉（pisang raja）、牛角蕉（pisang tanduk）、尼巴蕉（pisang nipah）和pisang naga，沾上老板娘家族秘方創製的麵糊和酥粉下鍋油炸後，熱熱的香蕉呈金黃色澤，表皮酥脆，裡面的香蕉卻軟滑可口，香氣四溢。

魚湯
湯底放了潮州人慣用的熬湯材料“鐵煲”，不過，老板選購的“鐵煲”是自香港和印尼進口，口味與眾不同，湯水更顯鮮甜。“鐵煲” 是一種類似比目魚的魚乾，熬煮前需先加工如油炸或燒烤後，才能增添湯水的甜美滋養。老板累積廿多年烹煮潮州菜餚的廚藝，煮魚湯功夫了得，除了材料新鮮，火喉也控制得當。一鍋湯、一碗飯，既健康又好吃。

柔佛叻沙
Johor Laksa是柔佛州獨有風味的叻沙，它和咖哩麵有異曲同工的味道，但色澤上叻沙略遜一籌。 在新山無人不知無人不曉的淡杯叻沙，其創始人也許深明這一點，除了在叻沙的味道上下功夫，也在叻沙的色澤上花心思，他特在麵條上淋了深淺不一的叻沙汁，再加入一匙三峇辣椒，嘩！整個視覺就變得不一樣。

明知道烤雞翅膀的卡路里非同小可，我也視“肥”如歸，最多明天才開始減肥，可以了吧！烤雞翅其實也不簡單，不是隨便烤烤就好吃的，君不見BBQ場合上的烤雞翅大多慘不忍睹嗎？所以，下功夫很重要，雞翅首先要醃得入味，再來要塗上適當的蜜汁才能在火上烤；時間要掌握得剛剛好，要不然像炭一樣黑，誰還敢領教？柏伶的海記XO燒雞翅膀，還配上自製的新鮮辣椒醬，雞翅加辣椒醬，喔！那是人間美味。

豬雜粥
新友記的廣東式豬雜粥，口感最佳的是炸得香脆的豬大腸，以及用心熬煮後香滑不膩的白粥。

羅惹
Rojak不管去到哪裡都差不多一樣，材料來去不外是黃瓜、豆芽、油條、蕹菜、沙葛和黃梨。
好吃的羅惹，除了材料要新鮮，重點配料──花生碎更要保持它的香脆口感，否則失去香味的花生，就好比一粒老鼠屎掉在一鍋粥，破壞了整體。同樣的，羅惹醬或我們俗稱的蝦醬，也是羅惹的“主角”，它不能太“水”，濃度要恰到好處，若抓不到這個要訣，一盤羅惹吃起來根本食之無味。 以賣叻沙為主的淡杯叻沙不讓人專美，賣叻沙之餘，還自製羅惹醬賣起羅惹，單是這份誠意已為它加分不少，加上自製能夠準確拿捏醬的味道，品質絕對有保證。

炭燒魚頭爐
圍爐不一定要吃火鍋，來一道潮州炭燒魚頭爐，也可以有團圓的感覺。
吃魚頭爐，可別因為拚命將鍋子內的魚肉、蔬菜等配料挾上來，而忽略好好地品嚐經由魚頭和芋頭熬煮出來後的鮮甜美味湯頭。
強記海鮮飯店的招牌魚頭爐，採用紅棗魚為主材料，魚經“過油”酥炸後，趁著它的香味還在四溢時，即放入湯內，和其他材料一起熬煮，慢火將湯頭煮至沸騰後，才來細嚼慢嚥喝湯，享受本就應該如此。

Beware of Fraudulent SMS and Telephone Calls Requesting Confirmation on Credit Card Transactions

Bank Negara Malaysia would like to caution members of the public to be vigilant when receiving any calls or SMS claiming that it is from Bank Negara Malaysia or any commercial banks. Bank Negara Malaysia will NEVER request for personal banking information through SMS or telephone calls.

1. Victim receives SMS or telephone call: Requesting victim to confirm a credit card transaction charged to the victim's credit card.

2. When victim calls the telephone number provided in the SMS, the fraudsters identify themselves as agents of a commercial bank, and again, ask the victim to confirm whether the credit card transaction had taken place.

3. When victim informs the fraudster that he has no such credit card or transaction, the fraudster will start to sound concerned and will advise victim to lodge a report with Bank Negara Malaysia 's "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu", or with the commercial bank's "credit card management department". The fraudster will provide the victim with the telephone number for the "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu".

4. When victim calls the telephone number provided, they are greeted by a automated voice message which identifies the company as Bank Negara Malaysia, and the call will then be answered by someone claiming to be a Bank Negara Malaysia officer. This officer will request for information relating to the victim's banking and credit card accounts under the pretense of lodging a complaint on behalf of the victim.

5. The fraudsters now have sufficient information to illegally transfer funds out of the victim's bank account.

晚上10点多我的亲戚在sri yacob 的T字路口时被追杀，那些匪徒要打枪！
但抢不到于是便驾车追他们和拿parang刀要砍他们。
