Fly to see Taipei 101 from SGD 74. From 1 July 2009, AirAsia X flies you direct to Taipei 5x weekly from Kuala Lumpur on our brand new Airbus A330. To be frank, I never been to Taian. If the ticket really that cheap, then can seriously consider. Not sure if the hotel is expensive.
Also you can hop on the Taiwan High Speed Rail and get connected to major cities in Taiwan! At speeds of 300 km/h, it only takes 90 minutes to get from Taipei to Kaohsiung.
Book from 24 Apr – 3 May 2009 and Travel from 1 Jul 2009 – 31 Jan 2010.
