Spending Valentine at a quiet and romantic hotel or resort may not be a bad idea. Just relax, and having a good massage and spa. Have a drink and enjoy a nice dinner.
Anyway, everyone is worry about the job, so some economic choice would be preferred. So the nearest and afforable one will be Malaysia. One night stay during Valentine can be as low as RM 200.
