Went to Suntec for the travel fair. As usual, they play all the trick at the price, e.g. they quote you the price of the 2nd person and hiding the expensive 1st person price. And bear in mind that all the prices exclude the tax and fuel surcharge. But there is a new trick now.....
Now, some big company will ask you to sign a form as below, that make the "additional trip" (last time known as "optional trip") as compulsory. Those additional one are like performance, dance show etc. In the past, you can decide to go or not, if you go then pay for the price. If not, they drive you back to hotel. But now, they say it is "additional" and you MUST go!
So the advertised price can be From $268. But that is the price for the 2nd person.
Then the price for the first person can be $1068, or $1366 for two.
That means per person is about $668 without tax and surcharge.
After adding the tax and surcharge it can be $788.
So adding the "additional trip" it becomes $868....
Can you see the difference in $868 vs the $268 on their advertised price?
If it is something compulsory, why not add to the cost of the trip? You guess what the staffs tell me? He says, if put in the price, it will be more expensive, will you still come to my counter?
Looks like economic is still not bad enough, full of people at the travel fair.

those travel agents are just like the property agents. they are all out for your money, by hook or by crook.
